I am going to miss John Cook, he had a great tenor voice in Concert Choir, and he was absolutely great as Curly in Oklahoma. God bless you my friend, I look forward to seeing you again when its my time to leave this Earth.
Jim and I met in grade school at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic school, and we became good friends. I'm going to miss you, your smile and your quick wit! Rest In Peace Jimmy
I knew Steve & I knew about his many health struggles due to exposure to Agent Orange, and he fought every day to overcome these problems with his health in his later days. May you Rest In Peace, my friend and brother.
I am going to miss Kenny, a few years ago my wife & I had lunch with Kenny & his wife at Bennet Springs, MO.
Ken was one of the "good guys"! Rest In Peace Ken.
James (Jim) Miller and I were the best of friends at CHS, we met just after his family was settled in because Jim's dad was Transferred to California from Downers Grove, IL. It wasn't long before Jim & I became "brothers from other mothers", his parents treated me like one of their own and my family welcomed Jim into their lives. "Jimmy" & I were always finding things to do & try, from "Liberating" a case of booze and sharing it to turning Mrs. Blanchard's beloved new Library's Reading Pit into a huge Fish Pond, complete with Goldfish & Lily Pads. I remember snowball fights in Mt Baldy and the night that a bag of lime that was traveling about 65MPH until it hit a rock and blew apart and turned the night White engulfing EVERYTHING! lol After Graduation, Jim enrolled at Mt San Antonio College and I joined the Military and we did not see each other until 1972 at the old Route 66 Night Club in Cucamonga and he came close to being arrested by me. I was a West End Deputy Sheriff and my partner & I were making a "Bar Check". In school, Jim was quite a bit shorter than I was, so when this tall, skinny guy started giving us a bad time we just thought he was a loud mouth drunk when it hit me, this was Jimmy! It was that night that put us in touch with each other and our Friendship grew, we kept in close contact after that, I met his "Bride" Helen at a nightclub and I thought to myself that this pretty lady & Jim made quite a couple.
My friend of 60 Years is gone, I guess that our Lord God needed him more than we did, although I can't understand why!?! We absolutely WILL meet again, so save me a place Jim and try to look up my other best friend, Don Weber, who died this past Monday. With the both of you "checking" out at the same time has left a huge hole in my heart. Saundra & I are Praying for your Family, I know that you are so very Proud of your Grandson's and if Helen requires us we'll be there to help her with anything. I love you, my "Brother". R I P

Today is so very sad & hard because my classmate and "brother from another mother" Jim L Miller was called to be with our Lord God. Devastated is a word that I do not use, but today I am devastated at my loss. Just about all of my Teen-aged years include Jimmy but I absolutely know that I will see Jim again. For anyone who reads this will you please say some prayers for his wife Helen and all of their family. Rest In Peace my old friend.
l have many fond memory's of Frank and I am going to miss him. May his journey continue and we will see him again. Your Watch is over my Brother, Rest In Peace.
