Dr. Louis Cockerham's Speech and Debate class was an amazing experience. Every class brought about a new idea.
What teacher inspired you the most & how has it affected your life?

Ms. Adam, Mr. and Mrs Shamah; they taught me the value of the character of a person. 12 years after graduating I saw Mrs. Shamah at a wedding and she asked me how long I've been teaching.
I didn't tell her what I was doing.
She told me that I had the character of a teacher.

I was often in the front office for one reason or another (mostly trouble) and Mrs. Applebee always had a nice word to say to me. She was never malicious, always kind.

In 1990 I bought a guitar, a Stratocaster, and named it after her.

May her soul rest in peace.
