Enjoy curling up with a good book in my small mountain town snow globe existence.
Try to garden, but difficult terrain and those pesky deer keep eating my beautiful flowers. Maybe if I quit throwing them apple slices???

Well, my most embarrassing moment was falling down the central quad steps. Also, I remember a modern dance performance in a leotard where I was a tree with my leaves blowing in the wind, and I just wanted the earth to open up and swallow me whole. Cathlyn!!! Not a fan of modern dance. Tap and ballet--another story:-)

My favorite times were making music with my friends in the music room, football games, dances, and just hanging out, especially at Betsy Ross.

Had some phenomenal teachers, but I have to say Don Brinegar, my music teacher, had the greatest impact on my life. He was so talented and had just graduated from USC when he came to CHS. He demanded excellence, and we all gave it our best. What I learned from him and my classmates has stayed with me in all of my life's musical adventures. Last night I listened to my old Christmas album we made back in '74 or '75. What a treasure! Thank you, Mr. Brinegar! And Classmates, you sounded amazing!!
