How the music teacher, George Denes, conned me, the new kid Clarinetist, into taking up the Oboe -- sometime after, I figured out that Mr. Denes had the goal of keeping the orchestra's Clarinet section stable, and hoped, as well, to have the Oboe position filled. He and Mr. Booth (math) were my favorite teachers.
