My name would not be found in your lists being that I graduated from Covina highschool however I would love to post in memory of Douglas Sloan.
Douglas Sloan was my best friend, he was there when ever I needed him which was more times then not. Douglas knew the true meaning of the words, friends, generous and kind. He was stubborn and quite set in his ways but that was Doug. I too can be quite unwavering so we quickly learned which topics to avoid in our conversations. Douglas was a true gentleman, his gestures were often rewarded with a smile by those who knew him as well as those who did not He was very sentimental and loved his family, speaking of them fondly and quite often.
Douglas is missed by many and will not be forgotten. Thank you for all the times we have shared both good and not so. It's been a pleasure Mr. Douglas Sloan. A true friend is hard to find and surely a blessing from God.
