Billy Barbour...a fellow classmate at Oakmont Elementary School. The summer between 8th and 9th, I had to move away from Claremont and all My friends. Fast forward to 1984...My wonderful wife, Marsha, accompanied Me and when We registered on Friday, he was just behind Us in line. 24 years...was how long it was since seeing any classmates, not enough time to attempt to "fit back in"! He was MIA here and on Facebook and now his story remains untold, RIP My long lost friend !

Thanks for the update Erik but sad to hear about Billy. The picture beings back memories.I too was at Oakmont and then CHS graduating in '64.Tom Metier (1964)
Another Oakmont alumni that lived around the corner from Bill since we started kindergarten. Lots of memories playing at the Barbour's house during our elementary years. I'm currently on Facebook with his brother Bob. RIP😥
