About me/us (Hobbies, interests, life philosophy, etc.) :

I thought that I was going to retire this year but have been asked to stay on for a few more years. While I still do some research, related to drug discovery, on the side, I'm more involved with developing new programming and funding opportunities for underrepresented minority students in science and biomedical research. I don't have much time for hobbies, though I love to read, I continue to volunteer on various boards and committees. What teacher inspired you the most & how has it affected your life?

I've always been a nerd so probably most influenced by my Math and Science teachers, like Trautner, Bookhout, and Bourque. I've stayed in science and lucky to work with some fine people and have fun at it.
