So far I've been unsuccessful in locating George's cousins Gary Braun and Peter Braun (both are originally from Wisconsin) who are possibly George's only living next of kin, so they can claim his cremains from the county cemetery where he is buried (ie. because he was indigent at the time of his death). However if any other CHS alumni wouldn't mind helping out in trying to locate George's next of kin, so his cremains can be claimed from the county, then that would be a nice gesture. The county office in Arizona that handled George's remains after he was found deceased and who are in charge of his cremains is the Public Fiduciary Office (928-669-6163, ask for Cora).
George was a world traveler, talented artist, outdoorsman, skier, music lover, antique collector, Deadhead (ie. a dedicated Grateful Dead follower), a great person, and overall a really good friend. He worked at a variety of jobs including union carpenter, paperboy, short order cook, long haul trucker, ski-lift operator, housekeeping staff at Yosemite National Park, jewelry maker, restaurant worker, car salesman, telemarketer, delivery driver, travel agent, etc. George was definitely a life adventurer and had many, many, many interesting experiences.
