Richard "Ric" Kenneth Gesler, age 53, a 16 year resident of Bullhead City, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010 in Bullhead City.
Richard, a Table Games Dealer, was born on July 3, 1957. He had 18 years of sobriety and was an inspiration to us all.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack T. Gesler, and mother, Mary Alice Gesler.
Ric is survived by his spouse, Debi Gesler of Bullhead City; sons, Justin Gesler of San Francisco, Calif., and Gerry Allen of Bullhead City; brother, Bill (Tammy) Gesler of Solvang, Calif.; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Allen of Bullhead City; and many dear friends.
A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Harrah's Showroom. Laughlin, Nevada.
His Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of him as gone away-
his journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets-
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting
from the sorrow and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days or years.
Think how he must be wishing
that we could today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost-
and he was loved so much.
