Aldo Alexander Gonzalez, passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 35, in the serene surroundings of Honolulu, Hawaii. Born on March 13, 1988, in Pomona, California, Aldo's vibrant spirit and endearing personality left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Aldo spent his formative years in Pomona, graduating from Claremont High School with a close-knit circle of friends and family cheering him on. His strong sense of duty and patriotism led him to a distinguished 15-year career in the United States Army, where he served his country with honor and pride. Aldo's dedication to service was a testament to his character, and his unwavering commitment left a lasting impact on his fellow soldiers and the many lives he touched.

Survived by his loving mother, Vanessa Saavedra, Aldo was a cherished brother to Rayleen Rodriguez, Johnathan Rodriguez, and Gabriel Zaragoza. He was a beloved nephew to Elizabeth Aburto and a fun-loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, Ernesto, Nayleena, David, and Raymond.  He was preceded in death by his grandma Carmen Rivas and his Uncle Tim Morning. 


Aldo was the epitome of a social butterfly, with a natural ability to light up any room he entered. He loved being surrounded by friends, and his passion for dancing and singing was infectious. His great sense of humor made him the life of every situation, and his outgoing and friendly nature drew people to him effortlessly. As a peace-maker, Aldo had a unique talent for diffusing tension with his quick wit and charm. His funny, sarcastic quips, coupled with his smart-alec attitude, were always delivered with kindness and a smile.

Those who knew Aldo will remember him as a man who never took life too seriously, yet cared deeply for those around him. His kindness was felt by all, and his friendly demeanor ensured that he never met a stranger. Aldo's love for his Bulldog was profound, a testament to his warm and caring heart.
