Andre R. Turner, 33, of Randolph, passed away suddenly on June 3, 2017. Andre Turner was born on June 24, 1983 in Inglewood California. He is the son of Paul and Sherrie Turner. 

Andre Turner graduated from Claremont High School in Claremont, California in 2000, where he was a star athlete on the football team. He continued his education and received his Bachelor’s degree of Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. For two consecutive years while attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Andre was recognized on the National Dean’s List for his academic achievements. Andre worked for the Queen Hospital located in Hawaii, as a counsel for children with autism and troubled teenagers. 

Hawaii was not only the land in which Andre acquired his formal education but the land in which he found love within his fiancé: Hianety Brito. He continued to add to his accomplishments by becoming an investor in real estate. Just before his death, Andre was starting his new chapter in the insurance industry as Head Director for the Boston region. Andre enjoyed spending most of his time with his son, Melakai and his fiancé, Hianety. He also loved working out,travelling, hiking, and reading. Family and friends was Andre’s passion and joy. He wanted to help anyone he came in contact with. He always had encouraging words, and a strategy for any problem one may have. If you just needed an ear, Andre was always willing to patiently listen, share in your happiness, and assist with any next steps needed to lead you to the next level of ultimate success. Andre was a loving, humble and compassionate person. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his son, Andre Melakai Turner, Fiance, Hianety Brito, his Parents, Paul and Sherrie Turner, only Sister, Marshan Jefferson, Grandmothers, Ruby Ward and Rosa Turner, Aunts, Adriene Ward, Yolanda Turner, and Portia Turner-Wilson, (Eric), Uncles Michael and Antoine Turner, and his “Nephew” Larell Williams whom he edified throughout his life, all of Los Angeles, California; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

All are welcome to gather Saturday, June 10th at 4 p.m., for a 5:30 p.m. Celebration of Life service in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Cremation and private committal.
