My favortie memory of Jeff was in 1966, when on Christmas day we all showed up at Mountain View Elementary to play some baseball. We had all received "super balls" for Christmas and wanted to know how far they would go if you hit them with a baseball bat. Jeff was the best baseball player among us so he got the honors... He got all of it - it went over Mountain View, over Foothill Blvd and took out the front window of the Alpha Beta supermarket. We beat a hasty retreat.
