David Gene Graudin, Gladstone, Missouri, was born May 19, 1950 at the old Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was baptized at the home of his godparents in south St. Louis. He attended Lutheran parochial schools in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Seward, Nebraska. David was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church, Seward, Nebraska. He graduated from Claremont High School in Claremont, California and attended what was Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska.

David met Leslie Dee Bryant in Chicago, Illinois. They were married in Morton, Illinois on September 3, 1994.

He was employed by Kenworth Trucking Company, Kansas City, Missouri. David attended Faubian United Methodist Church. He died at the burn unit in Kansas University Medical Center March 19, 2016.

David leaves behind his wife Leslie and her children Benjamin (Robin) Bryant, Elizabeth Bryant, Timothy Bryant and Sarah Bryant and grandchild Alexis Bryant. Sarah affectionately called Dave “Pappy”.

He also leaves his father Arthur Graudin, siblings Debbie (Andy) Keltner, Elisabeth (Michael) Teuscher, Mark (Julie) Graudin, nieces and nephews James (Heather) Keltner, Joe Keltner, Katie (Travis) Becker, Kelsey Keltner, Jeremiah Teuscher, Nathanael Teuscher, Jacob Teuscher, Matthew Teuscher, and great nephew Travis Becker and many other relatives and friends. His mother, Marlyn Graudin preceded him in death on December 28, 2015.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Faubian United Methodist Church, 7113 N. Troost Avenue, Gladstone, Missouri 64118. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
 
Memorials are suggested to Leslie Graudin, she will split the memorials between several organizations that shelter dogs and cats, or donor’s choice.
