Rex Foster Brown was born on Wednesday, August 18, 1954 in Pomona, California. He was the first born to Barbara Joy Brown and the late Henry Foster Brown. Rex graduated from Claremont High School in 1972 and graduated from Cal Poly Pomona University in 1976. He worked as an Assistant Manager for Thrifty Drug Store, Sales Manager for Reynolds Tobacco, and Regional Sales Manager for Gate City Beverage for 25 plus years.
Rex married Sheryl Young in 1976, and married Regina Hanson Twist in 2005. He was a wonderful man who would do anything to help and make things better for all. The world will be a much sadder place without him. Rex loved his big, extended family with all his heart. Baseball was his passion, coaching Little League, his sons, and Pony Baseball for over 20 years. He favorite sports teams were the L.A. Dodgers and Dallas Cowboys.
He is pre-deceased by father, Henry Brown and son, Ryan Brown. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Brown; wife, Regina Brown; previous wife, Sheryl Ziteck; brother, Mark Brown (Pam); sister; Cathy Reingrover (Tom); children - Derek Brown; Ryan Twist (Maryenna); Lisa Foley (Puna); Justin Brown (Cecily Soriano); Joshua Twist (Keilene Havener) and Shauna Twist. Grandchildren - Ashley Brown, Alexis Brown, Hailey Foley, Alyssa Brown, Deuntaya Foley, Jacob Brown, Kayla Brown and P.J. Twist. He also loved his many nieces and nephews, inlaws, and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Jones Mortuary; 23618 Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley. The family will receive guests for viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 20. Rosary Prayer to follow at 6:00 PM. Mass of the Resurrection Friday, August 21 at 12:30 PM, St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6915 Pigeon Pass Rd, Moreno Valley. Burial immediately following at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Ave., Riverside. Reception following – Foley Residence.
