Turman, Betty Sue Mobley, passed away Oct. 8, 2006 at age 82. She was born Jan. 7, 1924, grew up in Claremont, and served in the Navy as a WAVE during World War II. After attending UCLA, she married James E. Turman in 1949, moved to Fullerton and raised three daughters. She is survived by daughters, Pamela Notti and Sally Barrett and five grandchildren.
