Rolland Dale Towne, 89, passed away January 21st 2018.

Rolland was born and raised in Claremont, Ca., and graduated from Claremont High School in 1946.

Rolland was a World War II veteran (WWII), a third generation citrus rancher, and loved sailing and flying.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, his brother, Durl Towne, his sister Barbara Maxon, his children, Robyn Conway, Lynne Weigand, Thomas Bradley, and Richard Towne; fourteen grand-children, and eleven great-grandchildren.

A "Celebration of Life"will be held Friday, February 23rd, at 12 noon at the old "Women's Club" in Claremont, Ca., 343 W. Twelfth St., Claremont, Ca 91711
