Michele and her family moved to Claremont during 9th grade. She was a wonderful friend to so many, a devout Christian, a loving wife, sister, and "Gram Michele" to her grandchildren. She taught speech and language in the El Monte Schools, and taught Sunday School for many years. She survived breast cancer only to suffer an aggressive brain tumor, which took her quickly and without great pain. She is missed every day.
