A memorial service for Susan K. Meyer of Milwaukie will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the Sellwood Pioneer Church.

She died Monday in a Portland hospital of complications arising from scleroderma. Mrs. Meyer was 45.

She was born Nov. 12, 1946, in Peoria, Ill. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and moved to the Portland area in 1971.

Mrs. Meyer worked for Sears, Roebuck & Co. for six years. She had been a distributor for US West Communications for the past 13 years and was a fitness coordinator for employees of US West.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberley of Milwaukie; mother, Alice May Tiarks of Lancaster, Calif.; and a sister, Alice Tiarks Busigo of Santa Ana, Calif.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to any historical preservation organization or to a scleroderma research fund.
