Richard "Rick" Lakehomer passed away 12/22/22 in Bend, Oregon from complications of pneumonia and Covid 19.
He is survived by his son Jacob "Jake" Lakehomer, daughter Emily Lakehomer, and brother James Lakehomer. Rick was predeceased by his brother George Lakehomer and mother Leona S. Lakehomer. He was living in Madras, Oregon at the time of his passing.

In early HS, Rick, myself, and a few others, had some fun trips to Mt. Baldy to ski. That was back when we had wood-laminated skis, beartrap bindings, and leather ski boots. Heady and dangerous days on the slopes. By the end of HS, we drifted into separate directions, and he never showed up at the reunions if I recall correctly. But to hear of his demise being from COVID, well that is sad to hear. Rick, enjoy the great slopes in the sky!

I will remember Rick mostly for our shared love of fast cars - the main difference being, he had one! I hope he had a good life, he was a friend with a big personality!
