Lawrence "Larz" Neal Elkin; Vancouver, Wash. - passed away on Sept. 18, 2011, at Discovery Nursing Home in Vancouver, Wash., surrounded by family.
Larz moved to Pocatello, Idaho in 1992. He was a crossing guard, art teacher and working artist setting up his booth at local and state fairs cutting silhouettes of people. In 1996, he moved to Aberdeen, Idaho, and spent most of the rest of his life there until recently when he came to Vancouver seeking a liver transplant, his liver was failing due to complications from Wilson's Disease.
Larz is survived by his mother, Adrienne, also an Aberdeen resident; a son, Aaron; two grandchildren, Amadeus and A.J.; three brothers, Michael, John and Ty and nephew Robby. He was single when he passed.
