Charles Wayne Thompson passed away June 19, 2007 at San Antonio Community Hospital in Upland. He was born March 29, 1959 in Santa Monica, CA.
Charles started kindergarten in Claremont and graduated from Claremont High School in 1977. After graduating he traveled extensively spending time in many different places around the world. He was employed in the family business, Thompson Plating until 2000, he was also owner of Skyline Pedicab.
Charles is survived by his children, Bobbie Wayne Thompson of Upland and Chelsea M. Thompson of Pomona; mother, Dixie B. Thompson of Upland; brother, Michael R. Thompson and his wife Wendie of Parker, AZ; uncle, Sammy Colliver and his wife Barbara and their family of Hillsboro, OH; great aunt, Altheah Adkins and her family of Santa Monica, CA; nieces Tara Gory and Kayla Thompson of Parker, AZ; great nephews Chance Scogins and Pacen Scogins and a great niece Abbygail Gory of Parker, AZ.
Charles was preceded in death by his father Bobbie B. Thompson. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to City of Hope, Duarte or San Antonio Communitty Hospital in Upland. There will be no services, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
