Sebastian James "Jim" Giuliano, 61, passed away peacefully at his home on April 23, 2010. Born September 14, 1948, Jim grew up in Claremont and later moved to Orange County. He has spent the last 10 years in San Diego.

Jim was a graduate of Claremont High School and Cal State Fullerton and spent nearly 40 years in the food industry as a dynamic leader and businessman. He had a passion for sailing and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Jim was known for his sense of humor, loyalty, strong character and steadfast integrity.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Clara in 1991 and his sister, Paula in 2007. He is survived by his loving wife, Gail; his father, Salvatore; daughter, Heather and son-in-law, Derek; son, Jeff and daughter-in-law, Andrea; daughter Wendy and son-in-law, Andrew; step children, Greg, Thomas and Tori; grandsons, Scott, Grant, Johnathan, Declan, Zachary and Austin; sisters, Nancy and Connie and their spouses, Barry and Bob; brother in law, Tom; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 2:30 pm at St. Paul's Cathedral, 2728 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92103. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Cathedral in memory of Jim Giuliano.
