Patricia "Patti" Ann Hill (Morton) - Class Of 1962 VIEW PROFILE

Patricia Patti Ann Hill (Morton)

Sep 22, 1944 - Sep 21, 2016

Patricia (Patti) Anne Hill Morton, age 70, of Knoxville Tennessee, passed away quietly and peacefully at Fort Sanders Hospital on Monday, December 13, 2021 and is now dancing with her Savior.

Patti was born on June 29, 1951 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Preceded in death by her beloved mother, Martha and grandparents Ed and Gladys Rawlings. There is no doubt that she is reveling in their reunion.

Patti was known for her zest for life. She took such great delight in the smallest things which never ceased to inspire those around her. She loved to create, design and worked tirelessly to surround those she loved with beauty of all kinds. In her creativity making, she would always remind us to “trust the process” and whatever the project was it never failed to end up perfect. She had an amazing way of being funny without meaning to and there are so many fond memories of laughter and silliness with her. Patti will be best remembered for her deep devotion and love for Jesus Christ. She was an ardent prayer warrior and deeply connected to her Lord, who was the steering mechanism of her life.

Patti will be dearly missed by those who loved her. She leaves behind her husband of 35 years, John Morton, two daughters, Amy Danner (Mike Douglas), Joanna Heinz (Eric), and her son Joel Danner (Gabbie), as well as 7 Grandchildren, Hunter, Beau, Josie, Myka, Quinn, Bodie and Bowie.
