Michiko Spencer (Edmund & Lane) - Class Of 1981 VIEW PROFILE

Jan 15, 1963 - Dec 31, 2020

Michiko Spencer Lane Edmond was born in Pasadena, CA. on January 15, 1963. She was the youngest of four children born to Kazuko and Edward Spencer, who has preceded her transition.

She was educated in the public school system; George Washington Grade School in Pasadena, Ca. and Claremont High School in Claremont, Ca. Later she received her license in the School of Cosmetology in Ontario, Ca.

As a young child, Michiko had a strong determination. She was ahead of her time when it came to "women's lib". She was the only girl on a little league baseball team!

Michiko always had a business desire to get ahead in life.  After moving to Victorville, CA., she was creative with Demytric Lane, Sr., her first husband, in helping to establish a garden service.

Her family later moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1996. She previously worked as a Chevron Station Manager. From there, she began her career with  Lowe's Home Improvement, where she currently served as a manager. She worked with them for the past 21 years.

Michiko lived for love. She was a woman of faith. She believed in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Her calling was to  assist others. She was a woman of great generosity and sharing. Since her passing, her family has been blessed to hear from individuals who have benefited from her giving spirit. Truly she was an angel among us on the face of God's Green Earth.

When I Must Leave You

When I must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile; and for my sake and in my name live on and do all things the same. Feed not your loneliness on empty days, but fill each waking hour in useful ways. Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; and never, never be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky!
