Beautiful Mari passed away in February of 2022. We reconnected during the pandemic and exchanged emails every few days, writing about the weather, our health, and all the little things of life. Mari had been suffering from health issues for a few years, but her passing was sudden and shocking. Mari was a talented artist who won many awards in the United States and Europe. Mari and I were close in high school and remained in touch over the years. She had a number of physical and other challenges starting about 15 years ago....a very sad situation. Recently she had been able to kick-up her vegan life-style and produce some fabulous art. Her Work kept getting better & better. Her death took my breath away. We last communicated on 01/05/2022 - belated Holiday Greetings. I will remember her as extremely beautiful, talented, gracious, optimistic, funny....Jeez.
