We were as close as staff/students could possibly be... he will always be one of my Hero's growing up at CHS.
Harold Cole was an outstanding person, one my teachers, and an officer in the US Naval Sea Cadets in Pomona for a few of us in the class of 1966-68 were in. My father (a Navy Lt) and I ask Mr. Cole if he would donate time as a teacher, also become a Navy Lt. at the reserve unit teaching Sea Cadets Navy law,Navy seamanship, and notical terms, and he was a perfect fit. It brought back US Navy memories for him as he was an enlisted sailor before he became a teacher in civilian life.
