Fred Holliday died July 29, 2005, at his home in Chino Hills at the age of 64. Fred was born in Pasadena on November 13, 1940, and had resided in Claremont for many years prior to building and moving into his dream horse ranch in Chino Hills. Holliday is currently 39th for The Concrete Producer’s annual top 100 list. Holliday operates seven aggregate plants, eight hot mix asphalt plants, and thirteen ready mix concrete plants. These plants service San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, Kern and Orange Counties.

In addition to building a business, Fred was a member of the SoCal Miniature Horse Club and the Pacific Coast Miniature Horse Club. He and his daughter were the only Father-Daughter team showing miniature horses together. Fred was an avid equestrian and hunter and spent lots of time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
