Dwayne Eugene Patton, 76, passed away on 26, January, 2016 at his home in Mesa, AZ. He was born on August 8, 1939 in Kansas City, Kansas to Eugene Patton and Georgia Zoller Patton.

Dwayne grew up in Claremont, CA. He graduated from Claremont high school in 1959. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army and served for six years. He served in Korea and was Honorably discharged in 1965.

Dwayne married Virginia in 1987 in Cottonwood, CA. They were happily married for 28 years. Dwayne was a member of the Accepted Free Masons, the Fraternal Order of the Elks, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the Main Street Cowboys. He had a zest for life and always lived on the edge. His sparkling blue eyes and bright smile brought joy to many. He enjoyed traveling, and was an avid motorcyclist, loved boating, water skiing, and was a certified Ham Radio Operator. 

Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Georgia Patton, and son Ronald Patton.

Dwayne is survived by his wife, Virginia of Mesa, AZ; His daughters Debra Drinkard-Meredith and her husband Steve Meredith of Meridian, ID and Pamela Patton of Middleton, ID; Grandchildren: Joshua Drinkard of Bend, OR, Gabriel Drinkard of Meridian, ID, Dean Drinkard of Meridian ID, and Jessica Patton of Middleton ID, and his Great-grandchildren Kadance Drinkard and Max Drinkard 

Services for Dwayne will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona on February 3, 2016 at 12:30 PM.  A Patriot Guard procession will leave from Sonoran Skies Mortuary at approximately 10:30 am.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, to be determined, in Pendleton, OR.

Evertt Earl Eudy (1966)

To the family of Dwayne Patton, I am so very sorry to hear about Dwaynes passing....all tho its been many years since I had contact with him I have many happy memories of him back in the 60s....Dwayne always treated me like I was his best friend, even tho I was much younger than him. We had the same mutual friends. He was always laughing & having a good time!
