Jeffery Currie Ewing, 56, of Claremont, died Nov. 24, 1998, at Placentia Linda Community Hospital, Placentia.
He was born March 22, 1942, in Denver and lived in Claremont 20 years. He was a restaurant consultant with Denny’s for 32 years. He was a former member of Claremont United Church of Christ. He was active in Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts.
Mr. Ewing is survived by a fiancee, Tracey Ayer of Placentia; a son, Jerome Ewing of Anaheim; and his mother, Edith Ewing of Claremont.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Oak Park Cemetery, Claremont. Interment will follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association of Southern California, 3460 Wilshire No. 900, Los Angeles, CA 90010.
