James S. Spotswood, 77, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 25, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his father Garnet "Tuffy" Spotswood and his mother Helen Dorothy "Dot" Spotswood. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 35 years Donna, 4 children, Tamara Zaman (Highland), Carlos Luna (Flagstaff), Janette Sumner (Seattle), and Suzanne Carmona (Houston), 5 grandchildren, lifelong friend Jared Scott, and many close friends he considered extended family.
Jim, a 1961 graduate of Claremont High School, was known for his wry sense of humor, front yard bar-b-q's, and the ability to make people feel at ease and enjoy themselves. He is greatly missed and the world is a darker place without him among us. No services are planned, a memorial is to be scheduled this summer (perfect BBQ weather).
