David Brokl was born Mar. 4th, 1943 in Palo Alto, CA, and passed away Dec. 23rd, 2011 in Henning, TN from a sudden stroke and massive heart attack.
He was the youngest son of Arnold Stanley Brokl and Annette Chidlaw. He is survived by his brother, Stanley, Dorene, his wife of nearly 30 years, and his children, Scott, Yvonne, Debra and Barbara, as well as his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Dave's education included USAF Air Univ (1963-64), Chaffey College (1967), Occidental College (1969), USC (1986), Duke Univ (1986).
Dave was a communication company executive (GTE) in California for many years, until he retired. After moving to Tennessee, he was a business owner for Henning Gift Shop & Antiques, and a Pecan Farmer.
He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
