Rex Allen Hill born in Glendale, Calif. on January 20, 1960, passed away in Auburn, Calif. on July 23, 2006.

He has been an Auburn resident for the past 22 years and previously lived in Claremont, Calif. for 24 years. In loving memory of a man who touched so many lives. A loving husband, son, father and brother. His presence will be sorely missed by all the people whom his life touched.

He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for DeSilva Gates Construction. Rex worked tirelessly in the industry for many years. He found personal joy in working hard to provide for the children he loved so very much, for they were his pride and joy. We will miss his infectious grin and broad sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Nancy of Auburn; son and daughter Thomas and Stephanie of Auburn; step-son and step-daughter Brandon and Michelle of Auburn; parents Thomas and Mary Hill of Cool, Calif.; sister Michelle of N. J.; and brother Tim of Napa, Calif.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 6 p.m. at the Sierra Foothill Unitarian Universalist Church, 190 Finley St., Auburn. Private inurnment in New Auburn Cemetery. Arrangements by Chapel of the Hills.
