Richard J. Calderon, a lifelong Claremont resident, passed away (from cancer) on October 11, 2007 at Pomona Valley Hospital.
Richard was born August 24, 1956 and lived in Claremont his entire life. He attended Claremont schools and graduated from Claremont High School in 1974. Richard was employed by Pomona College for 15 years. Richard is survived by his parents, Jesse and Lupe Calderon of Claremont; a sister, Mary (Ron) Koch of Claremont, brothers, Raye Calderon of Claremont, Mark (Adrienne) of Fontana, Jim (Kristin) of Riverside and numerous nephews and nieces.
Richard will be greatly missed by all. He is at peace now. Viewing will be held today, October 16, 2007 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Todd Memorial Chapel, 570 N. Garey Ave., Pomona. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, 444 E. Lexington, Pomona.

NIce Kid and Family I met him when I was 8 years old his family lived withing a few hundred yards of Oakmont Elementray in a old wood house. A 3 minute walk to school :)
