Maureen Rae “Mickey” Devore (nee, Warkentin), of Lake Oswego, died peacefully Feb. 27, 2016, at home surrounded by family. Mickey was born in 1937, to Edward Gustav and Centura Jones Warkentin, grew up in Claremont, Calif. and graduated from the University of Redlands. 

Mickey was a longtime active member of Lake Oswego United Methodist Church and very involved in P.E.O., a women’s philanthropic educational organization, as well as in gardening groups like the Lake Grove Garden Club and the Hardy Plant Society. 

Mickey was grateful for the blessings in her life, especially being married for 56 years to her best friend, Paul, who passed away last year. 

Mickey will be greatly missed. Surviving to celebrate her life are her brother, Steve Warkentin; children, Laurie (Harry) Winters, Suzanne (Dale) Wagoner and Ted (Mimi) Demura-Devore; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grand- children. 

A memorial service has not been scheduled. Mickey requested any memorial contributions be made to "P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education," P.E.O. Inter- national Headquarters, 3700 Grand Ave., Des Moines, IA 50312.
