June Frances Beatty Stokes

Per brother Bruce Beatty: June was not married. She had started college at St. Benedict's -perhaps to become a Catholic nun, but dropped out to enlist as a WAC in WWII. She served in New Guinea until the end of the war. She had contracted malaria but recovered after her military service. She finished her education at Pomona College and then became an elementary school teacher in Manhattan Beach, CA.
