My name is Dave & I am the husband of Mildred Jouvenat & the father of our two sons, Jacob (14) & Jeremiah (11).

On Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 7:24 p.m., an incident occurred on the island of Maui, Hawaii, which has changed my whole world. My wife & eldest son were on the way to pick up my youngest, Jeremiah from a friends house when a drunk driver struck them. As a result of this crash, my wife sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. My son who was in the passenger seat was endured with life-threatening injuries and was then transported to Maui Memorial Medical Center. I’ve been praying & wishing my son Jacob would wake up from his coma, but on Monday, July 22, 2019 at about 2 p.m., my 14 year old son was pronounced dead while in intensive care.

As the father, I have decided to donate my sons organs to help at least 3 lives & I would be grateful to meet whoever my son has helped to live.

I am now left with just myself & my youngest son. We are kindly asking for any donations at this time. All funds will help pay for the costs of two funerals, medical expenses, & etc. It will allow one less thing for the Jouvenat family to think about during this time of grieving. We appreciate all the kind words, love, and support for the love of Mildred and Jacob. Thank you all and we truly appreciate any donations that’ll be given to the Jouvenat family to lay their loved ones to rest.

Much mahalo.
