It is with great sadness that I report that our dear friend and classmate, Sandy Gifford Carr, passed away on February 9, 2016. She had been bravely fighting cancer and remained positive and upbeat until the end. She will be greatly missed.

Sandy was a blessing to all of her classmates.  She was always kind to me and it was great seeing her at the reunion.  I had no idea she was ill.  Prayers for her family.

It was sad news to hear about Sandy's passing. Heart breaking to know we will not see her again. She was a bright and shining star, one you will remember always. She was all smiles at our 50th Reunion, and told me it was the best reunion ever. She had a good time. One would have never known she was not well. Glad I got to know her and hug her. She will be missed. My condolences to her family and friends, and hope they find comfort in their many good memories. She will shine brightly in heaven too. Rest In Peace Sandy. Cathy

We are so sad to hear about Sandy passing. She was such a good friend in high school, always so happy and full of life. It was great reconnecting with her at the reunion. She and Larry really hit it off.  She will be greatly missed. We send our heartfelt prayers to her family.  Sue and Larry Hannah

I was sadden to learn of Sandy's passing.  We were to meet in Lake Havasu this spring to get caught up on kids and grand kids.  She was always a wonderful friend.  When we would see each other it was like no time had passed we were still the same high school girls. I know she is missed by many.  Sandy is free from illness now and a shinning star above and will always be remembered as a very special person to me.

I miss you!   LYN
