Dallas John Gregory, 48, of Rancho Cucamonga, died suddenly of an undetected cardio-vascular disease on July 11, 2005 at home. Born March 11, 1957 in Fontana, he was a resident of Claremont in San Bernardino County for 48 years.

A truck driver, he drove for Warner Enterprises for 15 years and Anderson Trucking for six years. He attended Sumner Elementary and El Roble Jr. High, both in Claremont and Claremont High School.

Dallas served in the U.S. Army from May 1976 to July 1982 and was stationed in West Germany. Dallas was an avid Indy and NASCAR fan, spending long weekends at the Speedway in Fontana. He enjoyed off-roading in the local deserts, riding Quads with his large group of friends. In addition, camping at the Colorado River, sharing his Shuttlecraft and Seadoo, was another favorite pastime.

Dallas will long be remembered for his excessive generostiy and fun-loving spirit. He took care of others before himself; he loved everybody, that is for sure.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Upland First United Methodist Church, 262 N. Euclid Ave, Upland. Guests are invited to bring pictures and stories to share.
