Gordon and I were baggers at Albertsons at Towne Avenue and Foothill Boulevard for a year or two from our Senior Year at CHS, he was a good guy, a loyal friend and co-worker, although he got into trouble now and then and ended up with a few black eyes. (not from Me) I've told the following story about Gordon a hundred times since our 2000 Reunion at Ron Burkle's mansion in Bel Air. I hadn't seen Gordon since a year or so after graduation in 1970 but he was at the 2000 Reunion and saw me and pushed his way through the crowd to give me a big hug... with his Marlboro cigarette pack roled up in his T-shirt sleeve, he smelled like smoke... He introduced his Wife of one-day and told me they were living in Barstow, I asked him where he had been all these years, all he told me was that he had spent 20 years 'hard time' in Oregon. We talked mainly about the Albertson's days.
I've told lots of Friends and Relatives that I wished we could have had a photo with Gordon, Ron Burkle and myself; my Billionaire Buddy and my Ex-Con Buddy, somehow I ended up somewhat in the middle.
