From what we've heard, Lou passed away from Parkinsons. Please let us know if you have any further information. Thus far we have been unable to locate an obituary.
This is the information I have on Louie. He did in fact have Parkinson's. I do know that a group of guys from the Class of 68 kept up with him and visited his during his time of illness. This picture shows (left side of table) Ken Hargrove, Gary Vallone, Craig Nelson, (right side of table) Mark Gifford, Louie Amatore and Kevin Thompson. I also know that Tim Kittell and John Boles kept in contact with Louie during this period along with myself. This picture was from a few months before he passed. Louie was a fun loving guy in my younger years. Louie always had an uplifting spirit about him. He was a plumber by trade and a surfer for a hobby.
