Barbara Joan Setzer (Keehn & Groves) - Class Of 1960 VIEW PROFILE

Jan 27, 1943 - Jul 6, 2003

Barbara Joan Groves Keehn 7/6/2003  On July 6, 2003, near Battle Mtn., NV, Barbara Joan Groves Keehn lost her life from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. She was traveling home to Utah with her beloved companion, Robert Mahoney. Barbara was a multi-faceted person. A toxicologist by profession, a gardener, botanist, carpenter, electrician, plumber, roofer, framer, sheet rocker, interior designer, animal lover, seamstress, singer, dancer, teacher, librarian, scholar, diplomat, and great cook by choice. Whether you called Barbara mother, sister, daughter, cousin, grandmother, aunt, friend, or co-worker, when you met Barbara you knew your life was never going to be the same again. Her optimism, love, diplomacy, creativity, and spontaneity, went with her wherever she went. Please join us in a celebration of her life on Saturday, Sept 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jordan River Parkway in Midvale. (7800 S. and Jordan River, So. Side of the road.) We are making a memory book for Barbara's grandchildren. Pictures or written memories may be brought to the memorial or sent to the family at www.barbkeehn.us.
