Robert Reynolds died peacefully in hospice care on February 12 in San Luis Obispo County after a brief battle with brain cancer. He was 68 years old.
Born in 1951 to the late Walter and Elsie Reynolds, Bob’s younger years were spent growing up in the Reynolds family’s 12th Street Claremont home. After graduating from Claremont High School in 1969, he enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Germany for two years.

He lived a simple life in the five-cities central coast area, where he worked for many years as a talented auto mechanic at his cousin’s gas station and was handy at a variety of other trades. He enjoyed being a father and grandfather, staying physically fit, the great outdoors and making people laugh.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his three adult children, Doug, Darren and Kimberly Reynolds; grandson, Tyson; and sisters, Kathy Watje, Gloria Reynolds, Lucy Reynolds and Tanya Moreno.

Celebration of life services will be held in Pismo Beach at Margo Dodd Park, overlooking the beautiful ocean bluffs.
