Timothy Ray Coleman, 57, of Ontario died Oct. 4, 2011, in Upland.

He was born Dec. 11, 1953, in Upland and attended school in Claremont. He graduated from Claremont High School in 1972 and from Citrus College in 1975. He married Gail LaBarr in August 1976.

Always active in his sons' activities, he was Chino High School Booster Club president from 1999 to 2001. He was environmental, health and safety manager for Whitewave Foods.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gail of Ontario; sons, Greg and Kevin Coleman of San Diego; and two grandsons.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Coleman, and sister, Suzanne Coleman.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Royal Vista Golf Club, 20055 E. Colima Road, Walnut.

The family plans to use any memorial donations to benefit the homeless in Ocean Beach.
