Cause of Death: High speed car crash
Richard was an art student and very bright guy, but got into trouble when he was about 17 -- stealing cars and dumping them in the Claremont reservoir.
Richard was stationed at Fort Ord. He was a passenger in vehicle speeding near Monterey which crossed the highway and smashed into another car. Almost everyone was killed. See 1964 yearbook, page 65.
Interesting that Richard Farina was killed in the same area the night before!
