Robert J. Schetgen, 54, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Ellen Raiselis, died suddenly Monday (Dec. 5, 2005) at home.
Born March 5, 1951 in Geneva, IN, son of the late Joseph and Charlotte (Butz) Schetgen, he had lived in Glastonbury for the past 19 years. He was an Editor for the American Radio Relay League in Newington for the past 23 years. Bob was a member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational in Wethersfield.
Besides his wife he is survived by a step-daughter Rebecca Carr of Arizona; a sister Dorothy Paquin of Bellingham, WA, and several nieces.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 9 at 10 a.m in the First Church of Christ, Congregational, Main St., Wethersfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Mulryan Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
