Douglas Kriezel, 58, died unexpectedly at his home in Montclair on April 11, 2006.

Born April 14, 1947 in Norfolk, Nebraska to Earl and Lorene Kriezel, the Kriezel family moved to Claremont, CA. in 1956. Doug attended Claremont Schools and graduated from **Claremont High School in 1966. He was a Veteran having served 3 years in the Army during the Vietnam War. At that time he met his wife of 35 years, Karen Kriezel in Oklahoma. After marrying, he raised his family in Montclair, CA. 

Doug was a family man with a kindred soul and generous spirit that touched all that knew him. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, walking in Claremont and had a great love for all living things. 

He is survived by his wife, Karen Kriezel of Montclair, two daughters, Kim Huffman (John) of Rancho Cucamonga and Donna Davis of Montclair. He was preceded in death by his daughter Michele Kriezel and his brother Bill.  Doug also leaves behind his brothers Gary Kriezel of Asheville, NC., David Kriezel of La Verne, and sister Sandy Kriezel of Claremont. He has 4 grandchildren whom he cherished. 

A celebration of Doug's life will be held at Oak Park Cemetery in Claremont on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "Family & Friends of Murder Victims," P.O. Box 11222, San Bernardino, CA 92423, in memory of his daughter, Michele.  Todd Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
