George Melton Edmondson Jr.

April 16, 1944 - June 7, 2004


George M. Edmondson, Jr., 60, of San Dimas, passed (diabetic stroke) away June 7, 2004 at San Dimas Community Hospital. 

Mr. Edmondson was born April 16, 1944 in Covina and was raised in Claremont where he graduated from Claremont High School in 1962. While in school, he worked with his father at George's Whiteway Market on White Ave in Pomona.

He was a member of the Lutheran faith, a graduate of UC Berkeley, and was a Vice President and Regional Manager of Pier One Imports before becoming a real estate broker and owner of G.M.E. Real Estate Services in Irvine.

Surviving is his mother, Margaret Edmondson of Santa Clara; father, George M. Edmondson, Sr. and his wife Martha of Chino; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Jim Beeger of Los Altos Hills; sister, Sharon Folta of Tulsa, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Cindy and Ron Sommerhause of Grand Junction, CO; five nieces and nephews; five great nieces and nephews; and his dearest friends, Charlotte and Greg Whitney of Newport Beach.

Private Services will be held. Todd Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
