Dave and I met at church in 1963. He was a real character to say the least. He was a very witty, funny, fun loving person. I am of the same personality so we got along right away. When I heard about his older sister Linda's passing I called his parents to pay my respects, and that's when his mother informed me David had been struck by a car while he was walking along Pacific Coast Highway.

I can't tell you how I felt at that point. The Langlois family were wonderful people, and they certainly did NOT deserve this cruel misfortune. David & I would share rides to Mt SAC on occasion. I wish I could do that again considering the circumstances. We had great fun together. The last time I saw him was in a Claremont bar in 1976. He had long hair, sunglasses, and a cowboy hat on. I didn't recognize him a first. It was good to see him!!

The world lost a good guy when Dave passed. It's always sad when young people die when there is so much work to be done in the world to make it a better place. To all those who read this please remember: The most important things in our lives is each other. Never take ANYTHING for granted. I promise to keep David alive in my heart the remainder of my life. My best wishes to their little sister Beverly wherever you are!

God Bless.
