Carol Lou Cudney, age 75 passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017 in her home surrounded by family after a brief struggle with cancer.

Carol was born on April 12, 1941 in Pomona, CA, the daughter of the late Clyde and Hilda Shook. She graduated from Claremont High school and earned her Associate of Arts from Colombia College. After 10 years of civil service, Carol retired from the California DMV.

In 1961, Carol married the love of her life Charles Richard Cudney (Dick) who preceded her in death on Dec 22, 2010. Together they raised their four children: Russell Cudney (Mary), Michael Cudney (April), Loren Cudney, and Cari Leary (John). Carol and Dick enjoyed spending time with their 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her beloved sister, Pat Disney (Gene) of Kingman, Az.

Carol was a gifted in the arts. She was an avid painter and ceramicist. Her family is blessed to have many art works that she created in their homes. Carol enjoyed her painting class that she took at the local senior center. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be sent in her name to the Brentwood Senior Center in Brentwood, CA.
