Margaret Rose Mesa (Sevilla), Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away after a valiant fight against cancer on May 6, 2014 at the age of 74. Margaret was born in Pomona on July 8, 1939. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Ramon and Mary and brothers David and Richard. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Tiburcio Mesa, daughters Susan Petrocelli (Gabe), Lori Amador, and son Derek Mesa (Stacy); three grandchildren Brandon Baker (Joni), Bess Silva (Shaun), and Alec Mesa; and one great grandson Brandon James Baker; brothers Ray Sevilla (Yvonne), Danny Sevilla (Marilyn) and sister Delia Warrior. 

Margaret worked 27 years for the Chaffey Joint Union High School District. Twenty-five of those years were spent serving as a library technician at Alta Loma, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga High Schools. She always said that one of her greatest joys was to have the opportunity to work and interact with students and staff. She was an avid reader, artist and gardener who loved growing flowers. She was the mainstay of her family and will be greatly missed by all her knew her. 
 
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday May 29th at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church 435 N Berkeley Ave, Claremont, CA 91711. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society .
